Fitness Drumming Designed for Different Abilities

You do not need to consider yourself particularly fit, musical or coordinated before attending your first Drums4Health class.

The sessions are designed to be adaptable, allowing people to participate at their own level. Depending on the session and individual requirements, activities can be adapted around mobility, confidence and physical intensity.

This inclusive approach is an important part of Drums4Health. The focus is on enjoying movement, learning rhythm and experiencing the energy of participating together rather than competing with the person next to you.

More Than an Exercise Class

Drums4Health was founded by Tamsin Ward following almost 30 years working in education, including senior music leadership roles.

Her background brings together music, education and fitness, with qualifications including a Master’s Degree in Education, Degree in Music, PGCE in Education, Level 3 Personal Training & Gym Instruction and Level 3 Exercise Referral.

This combination shapes the Drums4Health approach. Sessions use real rhythm learning alongside physical movement and coordination, creating an experience that goes beyond simply exercising to music.
